went through the nct ok.... have hids there but had them in the crx and they were shit so am aprehensive about putting them in the teg???
Re: can someone shed some light?
Ive had hids few times and they where pretty good, Had 6k in dips and 4.2k in full beams, Try some yellow bulbs or super white xenon bulbs if ye don't wanna use hid's

Re: can someone shed some light?
will try the hids and see how we get on, the lenses are projector type and i heard that they are best for hids.... if they dont work i will look at a higher watt bulb or as you say Dan, get xenon, just wanted peoples opinions, or if anyone has done anything with them before
Re: can someone shed some light?
ye cheap yellow bulbs are shit, buy some nokya ones and you will see at night time they are serious and very easy on others eyes

May as well walk in front of the car with a candle.
Look into polishing the lenses Dave they might be mad yellow so that'll dull the lights. If you don't want to go down the HID route then Osram nightbreakers are mega. I have them as fulls in the teg and find them excellent. Not mega bucks either.

Re: can someone shed some light?
I found a good polish of the lenses did the trick in my old car aswell, might be worth a try before spending money on bulbs?

Re: can someone shed some light?
Im with Lee on the Osram, the bulbs in my car were cack, so I bought some Osram Nightbreaker bulbs, they are not as good as a quality set of HID's but cheap and definately a big improvement.
