Smokey on hard acceleration
As above, engine is a 1.5 LSI single point injection. if you accelerate hard from a stop, or change down a gear to overtake, it goes from virtually no smoke to as much as a steam train on start up
The car was lying up for over 12 months before I got it, but I serviced it, flushed the engine and changed the plugs, It helped a little, but still smokie as hell.
any idea how to solve this??

Try doing a compression test just to see, And maybe check rings, valve seals and gaskets?

jesus it'd be a bad car if you were able to notice 70 miles of driving gone off the dipstick.
how is it for coolant? just you mention white smoke/ steam.
sounds like you might be worrying over nothing much.

Re: Smokey on hard acceleration
If it's mainly white smoke you're getting that indicates moisture is present. If it's only been driven a small distance since being parked up it's possible that the was a build up of condensation, even in the exhaust, which may take a while to clear. I know myself even when I've worked on the car I've had white smoke for a short while after it where moisture had built up, even over a short period of time. That said, it'd only be a small bit and not the big cloud you're referring to. Does it all sound fine? Maybe check the inside of the oil cap for a scummy build up but if it's not losing coolant that shouldn't be the issue.

@RichieIntegra
Am using castrol magnatec 5w30 a1 oil at the moment,
@EJ Eire
everything sounds fine, engine is silky smooth at idle and up through all the revs, coolant level is fine, and no scum under the oil cap, no water in the oil ect.
@Toyotafanboi
when I say loose oil, it lost the slightest bit ever, you wouldn't normally notice it, but I a; always pay very close attention to the exact mark the oil reaches, so that is the only reason I noticed

Be graaand Ah no, if it's been parked up it might just need a clear out from a bit of driving. Keep an eye on everything and you should be ok I'd reckon
