Re: EF Swap guide.
Handy link Might do a D-series swap for the time being. Reasons are petrol usage for the carburetor engine, so I'm going fuel-injected. Also car is over-fueling, as told by previous owner, so good time to swap Read the B-series one there, way too complicated. Think I'll collect parts for it over the years, then go ahead with my initial plan. Pingo has some D-series laying around. Wonder if he'll give me one Nobody wants them engines anymore anyway. Hopefully his D13 from the Logo is there

Re: EF Swap guide.
well yea but the D series are the best for turbo, seriously strong bottom end and run low comp pistons so will take .7/8 without batting an eye lid
Re: EF Swap guide.
Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated. Better than the sound of a supercharger by a longshot

Re: EF Swap guide.
the yanks are going nuts with D series, so although people here dont want them now, they will in a few years when the whole turbo thing kicks off here properly
Re: EF Swap guide.
Wouldn't bother swapping a d series into the ef1 if I was you lad. Well unless of course, you have the time and the knowledge. If you have a decent d13 with a well tuned carb you should be getting good mpg and nice bit of poke out of a healthy d13.
