Civic Problems Starting...?? Empty Civic Problems Starting...??

Right so, as above guys, the mates civic since he got it, just the odd time when it's cold has problems starting.. It will start, and then conk again unless ya keep revving it, idleing very low.. It will eventually start then and sound after that....? Any ideas..?

Was going to say IACV too...could be having trouble opening cold? i dunno, but might be worth taking it off and cleaning it out. Had a load of white corrosion in mine stopping it from opening easily. Could have nothing to do with it but could be ruled out anyway
