F1 Dublin, anyone go?

I forgot about this till I seen it on Facebook today, did anyone go? Was it any good? Seen some YouTube stuff but it didn't really look that good. There's talks about it coming back next year.

was meant to go but was working today so no joy would have been good to watch id say, must check out you tube

too narrow... normally fastest car was a fuckin seat leon safety car!! drifters tryed hard but too narrow do anythin wild,,,,,,,

to be fair i have never heard anythin lik he roar lik the engine of a f1 car..!! i mean it actually hurt my ears t one stage!! seen grown men jump to cover there ears at one stage when there was one goin past!!

Yup, the Caterham went past on the limiter spinning wheels at one point and the popping and banging would deafen you! I thought it was a good enough day out. Weather was shocking so we left at 3.30 but the stuff was being cycled over and over so we wouldn't have really missed anything. The drifters put on a good show in fairness to them. We were standing at a point where it went from narrow to wide so they were coming out of that gap sideways and snapping across to the barrier where we were standing In general though, the track was way too narrow. And that hairpin on Dame street?? What were they thinking? Would have been sickened if I'd paid for full price tickets though!

Did you have to pay? Yeah it didn't look great. I wouldnt say that was a race engine the F1 car had. But I still mite go next year. Worth a look.

For thedemonstration zones people had to pay. Other than that it was free

will wait untill i can afford to go to a proper grand prix everything is shite in Ireland except Guinness

wasn't great, it was just too narrow and small for anything decent to happen

And nothing seemed to happen at the right time. Loads of people giving out about paying for tickets and getting a shite day out on the Bavaria city racing facebook page
