Re: Schumacher 2013
I am a massive F1 fan but over the years it just hasn't been the same, sad to see him go again but he is right, without an obvious good seat for next season...he really does have nothing else to give.
Re: Schumacher 2013
Its time for him to go i think and go back doing some ferrari test driving again

for me, i thought he would do another season or so you give him a fast car and he would be up in the top 3 every race, he is still well able to kick ass, i dont want him to go till he has nothing else to give i am going to be in tears the last race this season

Re: Schumacher 2013
Could We Really See A Sentimental Return?
There is currently a paradox within the world of F1 . A void, that Ferrari Team Principal, Stefano Domenicali, gazes upon every race weekend. It’s that of the Ferrari drivers.
In a somewhat underwhelming Ferrari car this term, Fernando Alonso has powered himself to the top spot in the standings as the half way stage of the season approaches.
Not only this, but he has been the most consistent driver among the whole field, finishing all nine races in the points and leading the highest percentage of laps (27.64%).
And, on a swivel of the hips, you come to Filipe Massa’s side of the garage.
After failing to find the podium throughout 2011, his 2012 campaign has been another to forget.
Out qualified and out raced on all nine occasions by his teammate, the Brazilian has an average finishing position of eleventh in the eight races he has completed this year.
Certainly not the form to land a new contract.
So, with the spotlight hanging heavy over Massa’s Ferrari future, who could fill the vacancy left by the Brazilian, if he was to go?
Sebastian Vettel is the favourite to land a drive with the Scuderia for the 2014 season and he’s welcomed Ferrari’s interest:
“I am honoured (Team Principal) Stefano Domenicali and (President) Luca di Montezemolo see me as a driver for Ferrari. I’m flattered, but there has been no signal from me, I’ve not signed anything, nor agreed anything with a handshake.”
So, with no ends tied, could it be the ultimate conclusion to the career of the most successful Formula One driver in history?
Michael Schumacher has had a mixed season so far becoming frustrated with technical issues along the way, but despite this he’s amassed a total of 23 points.
In a car with fluctuating reliability, Schumacher has recently began to prove his class once more, claiming third in Valencia, and scoring decent points again at Silverstone.
Not only this, but Schumacher has outraced team mate Nico Rosberg 75% of the time when both drivers have raced to the chequered flag.
However, it’s certainly been a season leaving the great German with a taste for more.
So, if Ferrari can produce a competitive car next term, could Schumacher get the nod and claw his way back to the heights he used to scale during the pinnacle of his career?
It would be a feat that every F1 fan would love to see once more.
To see him back in the driving seat of a Ferrari would be truly captivating. Schumacher re-joining the Italian giants where he triumphed five seasons in a row and claimed his record 6th and 7th Drivers’ Championship titles would be a site to behold.
For now though, he’s focused on maintaining his improvement with Mercedes and Ross Brawn , Mercedes Team Principal, insists Schumacher will not be rushed into a new deal:
“You have to have the discussion and reach a conclusion in order to plan for the future.
“But there is no deadline or critical point where he or we have said we must have a decision by. It must be the right decision. That is the most important thing.”
So, with no discussions of a new deal at Mercedes, Schumacher’s return to Ferrari is definitely not a write-off.

Re: Schumacher 2013
there was a very unflattering artical about "schue" few days ago in it that actually had some valid points that I wont repeat here haha
hamilton will do well wherever he goes and how is he not a figher he has been at the same team since he was 14 he just wants to move on and expeirnce something new. If that was the case then shcue was a burger for leaving bennaton and senna a burger for leaving mclaren was senna one for leaving mclaren??
Im not the greatest fan of either of them but hamilton is entitled to drive for who he likes and schue should retire and be remembered for his 7 world titles

Re: Schumacher 2013
And everything else, he broke every record there was to break. Hamilton is a tool, mark my words, and it will start to show in the next year or two what he is made of, he's not a patch on schue and never will be
